Places of Interest in Medan Indonesia


The charm of the tourist attractions in Medan is located on a number of landmark full of historical value. Medan is the capital of North Sumatra province, an area that has the most alluring natural heritage to foreign countries, namely Lake Toba. Lake Toba is a volcanic lake formed by volcanic eruptions thousands of past centuries old, is the largest lake in Indonesia and number two in the world after Lake Victoria in Africa. Lake Toba is also iconic tourist attractions in North Sumatra along with a number of other charming landmarks. Medan is one of the major metropolitan cities in Indonesia, precisely the number three in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Terrain inhabited by various ethnic groups with different cultures. Medan city is not much different from the Jakarta or Surabaya, especially in terms of heterogeneous demography. The condition of the infrastructure that is increasingly modern give a significant contribution to the life of Medan travel holistically. The attractiveness of the city of Medan was also found in a layer of a heterogeneous society. You can find some great and magnificent buildings in Medan which stores historical heritage significance and noble religious values. Figures are relatively low when compared to the Ngurah Rai in Bali (3.2 million), Soetta in Jakarta (2.2 million), and Hang Nadim Batam (1.3 million), but has a high growth potential in the future to remember the seriousness of North Sumatra to improve its tourism and where the quality of the international airport in Medan Kualanamu excellent.
